The hi gain Turbo-Jax level is pre-selectable and adjustable from, "none, to too much", and has more total gain then a single 12AX7 triode! The Turbo-Jax stage is in series with the other standard gain preamp stages so it can kick the stuffing out of them. Fabulous tubey distortion and soft clipping for a wonderful clean boost overdrive tone. Of course the Turbo-Jax can be bypassed by simply pugging into the other normal input jack!
