OUR 5E3 KIT IS SUPERIOR IN MANY WAYS!
The 5E3 chrome plated steel Chassis and Transformers are made in the USA,
exclusively for Mission Amps using our design specifications based on the
real things.
These are NOT, cheaply made, Asian rim knock-off Transformers!
The chrome plated steel chassis has improved white silk-screening using
our artwork. We also use hydraulically pressed PEM nuts and threaded
standoffs where needed, not inexpensive hard to install self tapping
screws or bothersome nuts, bolts and lock washers.
Other kits may not even include a way to mount the circuit board, the
output transformer, the parts to mount them or
might not even have holes in the chassis to do so.
(Mission Amps 5E3 has no ground switch, it uses a grounded power cord... a properly labeled "Standby"
switch is included and used instead).
Dec 20th, 2011. The custom made, 5E3 chrome
chassis' are in stock now but VERY limited. We try to advertise Mission Amps chassis
availability but if our chassis' are out of stock, a MOJO 5E3 chassis can
be substituted with out prior notice on our part.
If you have the tools and solder, everything is here in the chassis kit
except a speaker, and a tweed Deluxe cabinet kit.

If
after making an honest effort to build your 5E3 amp kit you cannot seem to
get it to work, we offer a flat $75.00 service fee to check the kit out,
repair any building errors, replace defective parts and guarantee the amp
to work correctly after that point. This offer DOES NOT include the cost of
damaged components incorrectly installed by the builder or shipping and
handling to and from Mission Amps.
NOTE: We also will repair guitar amp kits purchased from other companies if
you cannot get them to work. We will replace obvious questionable,
defective or substandard components with our own before starting actual repairs. The rate will be based on time and
materials with the standard $75.00 kit minimum for the first hour. See our Guitar Amp Repairs page for instructions.
